Pre-Arrival and Reservations Arrangements
A wedding block of no less than 10 rooms is necessary to obtain special wedding group rates. Rates will depend on your arrival and departure dates and the accommodations you choose for your guests. Please contact our Sales office at 212-575-7030 for information on rates and availability.
Once dates have been selected and reservations have been placed, our on-property Guest Services Manager will contact you to set up ceremony and banquet arrangements at the resort. Additionally, our personal wedding planner will contact you for the preliminary information and to assist you with any paperwork requirements for getting married in St. Martin. We will ensure you enjoy personal assistance from prior to arrival to well after you say “I do.”

Arrival
Please arrive into St. Martin at least three days prior to your chosen ceremony date. Our private VIP airport transfer service* will meet you on tarmac and whisk you through the lines, assist you with your immigration paperwork and help you with your luggage. After a short 15 minute drive, you will arrive at La Samanna, where our courteous staff will greet you and show you to your accommodations.
Preparation for the Wedding Ceremony
Required Documents & Witnesses:
- Birth Certificate with raised seal and Apostille stamp, including mothers maiden name.
- Divorce papers must be issued by the Supreme Court and have the Apostille Stamp.
- Six (6) witnesses for registration of papers at the Court House or Legislative Hall if marrriage is performed outside of the Marriage Hall. Witnesses can be provided.
- Two (2) witnesses if Marriage is performed in the Marriage Hall/Census Office.
Wedding & Honeymoon Basic Package:
- All administration of the marriage license (documentation and stamp duties)

What You Need to Bring
Valid passports
Birth certificates
Return airline tickets to your home destination
If either or both people have been divorced, it will be necessary to bring along a copy of the certificate of divorce.
Documents need to be submitted to your wedding planner for the government office six (6) weeks prior to your wedding date.
Ministers, priests and permitted officials may be obtained in St. Martin and St. Maarten; however, it would be necessary to bring along a Rabbi should one be required for the service.
